A classically trained pianist, visual artist, app developer, award-winning DJ, and FAA-certified drone pilot with over 30 years of experience shaping soundscapes.
Alexander Blue established Blue Beat Productions in Knoxville, TN to bridge the gap between classical composition and high-end digital media. His creative influences range from the jazz improvisation of Herbie Hancock to the cinematic melodies of Ludovico Einaudi. Beyond the studio, he co-hosts Simmer Down Central on WUTK 90.3 FM — a reggae and world music show voted #1 Best Podcast in Knoxville's Finest 2026.
Alexander also founded Scruffy City Skies, an FAA Part 107 certified drone videography company serving Greater East Tennessee. As a developer, he built the Resonant and Anomaly Watch apps, bringing his audio expertise to mobile platforms.
